Order of the North Star Commander set. Ake Edvard Gronhagen (24th of january 1865 – 25th of December 1974) was a swedish modern pent athlete and épée fencer who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics. He finished fourth in the Olympic Modern Pentathlon, and was eliminated in the fourth round of the individual épée competition. Colonel Ake Gronhagen was King Gustav V favourite adjutant and served him for many years. He also served King Gustav IV Adolf. He recieved the order of the North Star, commander I class in June 1950. The star is made of silver and the badge of gold and comes with the original case.
