Swedish Blue Star merit medal [Svenska Blå Stjärnan förtjänstmedalj i silver]

The medal was instituted in 1930 for helping and aiding animals. Before the 1940´s the name of the medal was: Swedish Red Star merit medal. The medal is depicting on the obverse King Gustav VI Adolf (1950-73).
