A mixed LOT of German patriotic stamps from the time of World War I.

German Patriotic Badges from World War I (1914–1918)
These badges and commemorative emblems originate from the German Empire during World War I and bear the symbol of the Iron Cross, one of the most famous German military awards. They were worn as patriotic jewelry, souvenirs, or badges of honor to show support for the German troops and the war effort. Many of them are decorated with the years 1914 and 1915, referring to the opening years of the war.

Slogans such as “Durch Kampf zum Sieg!” (Through struggle to victory!) emphasize the nationalist spirit of the time. Such badges were often worn by civilians, soldiers, and relatives as a symbol of loyalty and sacrifice.

Material: Silver, enamel, brass and bronze.
