It was given to the officer upon graduation day. These were the infantry, hussars, artillery, armored units and technical formations as well as river forces.
From 1933, it was obligatory to be worn on formal attire, on both large and small company dresses. However, it could not be pinned on in marching dress or during retreats.
The insignia was worn on the fabric background of the branch colours. This badge is worn on red fabric for the artillery. It was to be worn in the middle of the upper right tunic pocket.
Bronze gilt with red, orange and green enamels, measuring 45 mm (w) x 53.7 mm (h), both prongs intact, some very minor scattered chipping evident in the orange enamels on the ribbon at the base, the red fabric background is time period to the badge as well.
