The medal is in excellent condition and is made of gilt silver.

The case is in very good condition with the decorated name on the top of the lid: “Einar Kjellén”. On the inside of the lid Sporrongs company hallmark.

Einar Kjellén, (born September 26, 1903 in Grillby, died there July 15, 2000) was a Swedish archaeologist.

Kjellén discovered the largest petroglyph “Brandeskog ship” and besides the medal he received July 6, 1966 Order of Vasa, knight I class.
